I bid farewell to 2009, an interesting year for myself and my family on so many levels.
There were things I wish that did not happen in 2009 that did, and there are things I wish DID happen that did not.
And there are things that happened to me in 2009 I wouldn’t have traded anything for.
So the new decade is upon us. In these changing times, I offer up a toast to all.

The many and the confused
Find a common goal and solution
To bring us all to a brighter day
That our children and their children
Will remember us all as one
As a people that finally looked past
our differences
and Discovered what we all have in Common
Our families
